Remember Alt Rising Act The Haze? We described their music as “psych-adjacent hard rock [that] captures an infectious energy with their anxious and passionately angsty sound aesthetic.” Well the group rebranded earlier this year to form WHYTE LYTES, and their sound followed suit by adapting their classic-rock angst into a more bright alternative drive. The group released their debut single entitled Go Get It, and IndieBeat has the US Premiere of the video. The song takes their previous aesthetic and adds a more refined alt-rock sound, remaining classic yet fresh. Complete with a reverberating breakdown, scratchy riffs, and and spunky groove, the new single is reminiscent of heyday Rolling Stones blended with 90s era Red Hot Chili Peppers. UK blogs are noting the single’s edgy swagger, and we have to agree–it’s an enticing song that makes back-to-basics rock a modern treat.
