I’ve always loved the rain, since for me it’s cleansing, a chance for renewal in changing and questioning times. Something about the song “November Rain” is always fitting this time of year, and not just because it is November and the gloomy weather is appearing. Fall is a very transitional season, a time where we get very reflective and even have to reevaluate things. It’s a time when you have to step back and just look out your window and sort things out, letting the weather guide your feelings.

Let “November Rain” be the preface for this playlist (as it doesn’t appear on it), since “when it rains” is very much in its spirit, with songs to just let your mind wander, let your emotions out, and let the music and sound of rain make things better. So let your thoughts walk in the cold, November rain, because nothing lasts forever, and you’re not the only one out there in need of a rainy day.

This was one of our more interesting collaborations, a case study in playlist building, as Josh and Enrique each curated half of the playlist, alternating picks, each building off each other’s choices to create a cohesive and thematic flow. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed putting it together!
